A fellow blogger suggested the library start an online book discussion group. The book proosed is Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith. This book is described as "a stunning thriller, one of the most talked about debut novels of the year".
If you are interested in joining a discussion of this book, please let me know.
This book is not currently available at the Bridgewater Public Library but can be borrowed from another library. It is currently owned by East Freetown, Norton, Swansea and Wareham which are still loaning to us. The Bridgewater Public Library will buy a copy when money becomes available.
For now I urge you to try to get a hold of the book and start reading.

Library Hours Changing
Now that Town Meeting has passed, the library is ready to begin a new fiscal year. We're pleased to say that we will be here, offering services to the Bridgewater community. We'd like to thank all who went to Town Meeting. The amount of money budgeted for the library is not large but will allow us to stay open 14 hours a week.
The news hours, beginning July 1st, are: Tuesday, 2-8; Wednesday 1-5 and Thursday 9-1. This is a change from our current hours so please help us spread the word.
